This Privacy Policy sets out how Hannto Technology Co., Ltd. ("Hannto", "we", "our" or "us") collect, use, disclose, process and protect any information that you give us when you use Hannto products and services located at www.liene-life.com, and Liene Photo App. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using Hannto products and services, it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy and/or on our terms and conditions for users.

The Privacy Policy is designed with you in mind, and it is important that you have a comprehensive understanding of our personal information collection and usage practices, as well as full confidence that ultimately, you have control of any personal information provided to Hannto.

“Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household..

We are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality and security of your personal information by complying with applicable laws, including your local data protection legislation, as well as this Privacy Policy. We are equally committed to ensuring that all our employees and agents uphold these obligations.

A. WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND HOW DO WE USE IT?

I. TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW WE USE IT

In order to provide our services to you, we will ask you to provide personal information that is necessary to provide those services to you. If you do not provide your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our products or services.

We may collect the following types of information (which may or may not be personal information):

Basic Information you provide to us or upload : In sign up account and for us to contact you for necessary service notification, we will collect your username, email address, apple ID account, the region you choose, information(such as your email address, nickname), Facebook account information(such as your Facebook User ID, email address, nickname, avatar),
  2. Feedback Information or requests you provide to us during the course of services to respond to your feedback or request:your feedbacks, the files, images you provided relevant to your feedbacks, and your communication records with our staffs.

Automatically Collected Information

4. Device management data:

You will need to pair and register the printer in Liene Photo in order to access its features. During this process, we will enable your Bluetooth and network in order to collect information about your printer and complete the pairing. It includes device name, device model, MAC address, Device ID, Device SN (serial number), Device SKU, firmware version, device status, time of device activation, Bluetooth MAC address, and Bluetooth name.

After registering, to record the usage of your device so that we can conduct troubleshooting and analysis, we will collect information about your device, including printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) serial number, printer engine serial number, installation location, and security settings (the password you set to access the device), device status, Internet service provider, IP address, Platform, timestamp, application identifier, application version, application distribution channel, independent device identifier, International Mobile Equipment identity (IMEI), International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), device model, terminal manufacturer, terminal operating system version, session start/stop time, language location, time zone and network status (Wi-Fi, mobile cellular network, etc.), hard disk, CPU and battery usage.

Also, when collecting your information for troubleshooting, we will collect following specific information generated from your using the Liene Photo Printer/Liene Pocket Photo Printer: Device battery usage statistics (including current status, total usage time, number of charges, charging time, number of pages printed by using battery only), Wi-Fi statistics (including the type of Wi-Fi connected (2.4G/5g), duration and times of 2.4G Wi-Fi connection, duration and times of 5G Wi-Fi connection), the number of remote tasks sent by using Liene Photo APP and the number of near-field tasks sent by using Liene Photo APP.

5. Photo printing data: To proceed with user's printing actions and for future improvement, we will collect information about the name, size and type of files to be printed, source of the printing task, and printing type (i.e., standard photo, photo collage, grid photo, profile picture, identity photo, label sticker, business card, or greeting card); printing optimization settings (direction, border, filter, enhancement); number of printouts; time when the printing task is initiated, received, and completed; end status of printing tasks (completed/faulty).

6. Network Information: When you use the printer to connect to the network, we will collect the network information of your device in order to confirm that your mobile device and the printer are under the same LAN and run together.

Aforementioned information includes Wi-Fi information (SSID, BSSID, MAC address of Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi password), MAC addresses of the device and Bluetooth on the device. The Wi-Fi password will only be stored locally on the device to enable reconnection after device restart, and will not be uploaded to our server.

7. Errors: When you use the printer, we will collect information about device faults to help you solve problem: Including information about device status (standby, sleep, printing, charging, low battery, battery alert when unable to print, updating), paper status, out-of-paper alert, fault types (low paper alert, paper error, paper jam, printhead error), and fault-fixing options (fixed already, fix later) and results.

8. Product Usage Data: When you use our products, we will collect data about product usage for troubleshooting, or locate and respond to your complaints and feedbacks, such as information on time of device activity, time of device maintenance, total number of pages printed, total number of pages successfully printed, total number of printing cancelled, total number of paperless printing, total number of unremovable printing, total number of paper jams, total number of open cover errors, total number of parse errors, total number of untaken printed photos, total number of toner used up, total number of damaged printheads, and total number of failed platen units, and time of device activation, the number of Liene Photo users paired with the device, total number of pages printed, total number of completed printing tasks, total number of canceled printing tasks, total number of out of paper alerts, total number of paper load errors, total number of paper errors, total number of device hardware errors, total number of times the device cover is opened, total number of image decode error, total number of wait to remove photo error, total number of ribbon empty error, total number of ribbon jam error, total number of print head broken error, total number of platten roller error.

Information From Other Sources

9. We will collect, from third party platform or services provider, your Facebook account information (i.e., your Facebook User ID, email address, nickname, avatar) for signing up your account.

10. We will also collect other types of information which are not linked to an individual and which is anonymous. For example, the device model and system version number of the user’s mobile phone device may be collected when using a particular service. Such information is collected in order to improve the services we provide to you. The type and amount of information collected will depend on how you use, opt-in or participate in our products and/or services.

II. HOW THE PERSONAL INFORMATION IS USED

Personal information is collected for providing services and / or products to you, and legal compliance on our part under applicable laws. You hereby consent that we will process and disclose personal information to our affiliated companies (which are in the communications, social media, technology and cloud businesses), Third Party Service Providers (defined below) for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

B. DIRECT MARKETING

We may use  email address you provide in connection with your Hannto account to provide marketing materials to you relating to goods and services of Hannto.

You should know that when Hannto shares your personal information with a Third Party Service Provider under any circumstance described in this section, Hannto will contractually specify that the third party is subject to practices and obligations to comply with applicable local data protection laws. Hannto will contractually ensure compliance by any Third Party Service Providers with the privacy standards that apply to them in your home jurisdiction.

I. SHARING WITH OUR GROUP AND THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

In order to conduct business operations smoothly in providing you with the full capabilities of our products and services, we may disclose your personal information from time to time to other our third party service providers which are our mailing houses, delivery service providers, telecommunications companies, data centres, data storage facilities, customer service providers, advertising and marketing service providers, and Hannto’s representatives in the future. We will update this Privacy Policy, and such Third Party Service Providers would be processing your personal information on Hannto’s behalf or for one or more of the purposes listed above. For the avoidance of doubt, Hannto may collect, use or disclose your personal information without your consent if it is and only to the extent it is allowed explicitly under local data protection laws. Such disclosure may be brought about by the necessity to protect our rights, ensure the safety of you and other people, and comply with the requirements of the local government to facilitate the investigations of illegal activities.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or other similar risks, we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from your using of Hannto products and services and on Hannto websites. We will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal information.

All your personal information is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. We classify your data based on importance and sensitivity, and ensure that your personal information has the highest security level. We make sure that our employees and Third Party Service Providers who access the information to help provide you with our products and services are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet such obligations. We have special access controls for cloud based data storage as well. All in all, we regularly review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against any unauthorised access and use.

We will take all practicable steps to safeguard your personal information. However, you should be aware that the use of the Internet is not entirely secure, and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any personal information which is transferred from you or to you via the Internet.

F. RETENTION POLICY

Personal information will be held for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. We shall cease to retain, delete personal information, or remove the means by which the personal information can be associated with particular individuals, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purpose for which that personal information was collected is no longer being served by retention of the personal information, including the cases when the personal information is no longer required for resolving legal disputes, applying our Agreements, or achieving our business goals.

G. ACCESSING OTHER FEATURES ON YOUR DEVICE

Our applications may need access to certain features on your device such as Wi-Fi network status. This information is used to allow the applications to run on your device and allow you to interact with the applications. At any time you may revoke your permissions by turning these off at the device level or contacting us at privacy@hannto.com

H. YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER YOUR INFORMATION!

I. CONTROLLING SETTINGS

Hannto recognises that privacy concerns differ from person to person. Therefore, we provide examples of ways Hannto makes available for you to choose to restrict the collection, use, disclosure or processing of your personal information and control your privacy settings:

If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for the abovementioned purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing or emailing us at privacy@hannto.com.

II. YOUR RIGHT TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

a) You have the right to request access to and/or correction of any other personal information and relevant information that we hold and we disclose to the third parties in 12 months. When you update your personal information, you will be asked to verify your identity before we proceed with your request. Once we obtain sufficient information to verify your request for access to or correction of your personal information, we shall proceed to respond to your request within any timeframe set out under your applicable data protection laws through the email (such as in CA, within 45 days of receipt of your request, and we may extend another 45 days upon notifying you the extension).

b) We normally provide such services for free but reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for your data access request. (If you are in CA, we only respond to your request to access to your personal information for past 12 months under section a) twice a year, and we may charge a reasonable fee for request over 2 times.)

c) If you would like to request access to your personal data held by us or if you believe any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete or if you believe any information we are holding on you is inappropriate or excessive, please write to or email us as soon as possible at the email address below. d) You may access and edit your name and image in [User Name].

e) You may access to your pending print mission in the [Print Queue].

III. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

f) You may withdraw your consent for the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal information in our possession or control by submitting a request. To do this, go to User Center > Service and Privacy > Revoke authorization We will process your request within a reasonable time from when the request was made, and thereafter not collect, use and/or disclose your personal information as per your request.

g) Please recognise that your withdrawal of consent could result in certain legal consequences. Depending on the extent of your withdrawal of consent for us to process your personal information, it may mean that you will not be able to enjoy Hannto’s products and services.

IV. Deletion of your information

You may submit a request to delete the information we have collected about you by sending request to us at the email privacy@hannto.com, or when you unregister your account or withdraw privacy consent.

You may be entitled, in accordance with applicable law, to submit a request through an authorized agent. To designate an authorized agent to exercise choices on your behalf, please provide evidence that you have given such agent power of attorney or that the agent otherwise has valid written authority to submit requests to exercise rights on your behalf.

We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law and subject to proper verification. We will verify your request by emailing us.

Moreover, please be aware that we may not able to delete your personal information if such personal information fall within’ the scope of the exception of deletion of personal information subject to the local legal requirements(If you are CA resident, please refer to Civil code 1798.105).

V. EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS:

To exercise your rights above or any other rights, please contact us or follow the above guidance. Before we can respond to your request, you may be required to verify your identity or your account details for us to proceed.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF YOUR JURISDICTION

We don’t transfer your personal information to any third party in any foreign jurisdiction.

To the extent that we may need to transfer personal information outside of your jurisdiction, to Third Party Service Providers in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy, and shall do so in accordance with the applicable laws. In particular, we will ensure that all transfers will be in accordance with requirements under your applicable local data protection laws by putting in place appropriate safeguards.

Hannto may use overseas facilities operated and controlled by Hannto to process or back up your personal information. Currently, Hannto has data centres in Beijing, United States, Singapore, Germany and Russia. Personal Information we collected in US will only be stored and processed within’ US.

These overseas jurisdictions may or may not have in place data protection laws which are substantially similar to that in your home jurisdiction. If we may transfer to and store your personal information at our overseas facilities, this does not change any of our commitments to safeguard your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

I. MISCELLANEOUS

MINORS

We consider it the responsibility of parents to monitor their children’s use of our products and services. Nevertheless, it is our policy not to require personal information from minors or offer to send any promotional materials to persons in that category.

Hannto does not seek or intend to seek to receive any personal information from minors. Should a parent or guardian have reasons to believe that a minor has provided Hannto with personal information without their prior consent, please contact us to ensure that the personal information is removed and the minor unsubscribes from any of the applicable Hannto services.

ORDER OF PRECEDENCE

If you have agreed to our applicable User Agreements, in the event of inconsistency between such User Agreements and this Privacy Policy, such this Privacy Policy shall prevail.

J. UPDATES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We keep our Privacy Policy under regular review and may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or post the changes on all the Hannto websites or through our software, so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it. Such changes to our Privacy Policy shall apply from the effective date as set out in the notice or on the website. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Your continued use of products and services on the websites, mobile phones and/or any other device will be taken as acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We will seek your fresh consent before we collect more personal information from you or when we wish to use or disclose your personal information for new purposes.

K. DO I HAVE TO AGREE TO ANY THIRD PARTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS?

Our Privacy Policy does not apply to products and services offered by a third party. Hannto products and services may include third parties’ products, services and links to third parties’ websites. When you use such products or services, they may collect your information too. For this reason, we strongly suggest that you read the third party’s privacy policy as you have taken time to read ours.
